Fuel Pressure test ports

Quite a while ago I posted that my 97, 318 Dak didn't have the fuel pressure
test ports on the fuel rail. A lot of you came back and said "yes you do",
and a few others came back and said "wait a minute I don't either" . I
still don't have one :-) What I'm asking now is right behind the driver's
side valve cover, back about 2" and 1" towards the distributor I have a
rubber black cap on a line that comes from under the engine compartment that
I don't know what it is. I've tried removing it but, I just don't want to
break anything. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
