Well it looks like my brother is going to trade in his R/T for a VW.
I never could get him to come over to the dark side (DML)....
Anyway I wish I would have known this about a month ago, but I am sure he
will be taking off his tonneau cover when he trades it in. It is from a 99
R/T, it is an ARE fiberglass lid with the built in body lines. It is less
than a year old, bought it around christmas time. It is curently painted
Purple (Deep Amytheist) but could be changed. If memory serves me correctly
he paid a little more than $900 for it.
It is the clamp on type that require no holes to be drilled.
If anyone is interested in his cover, send me an email with your phone # and
a *reasonable* price and I will have him give you a call.
If anyone wants to buy a 99 CC R/T fully loaded, I am sure he would sell it
for $13,000 with the few mods it has (Tonneau, apc lights front & rear, sony
cd player, etc) Just let me know in the next couple of days as he wants to
get the stupid VW. Dealer offered him $12,500 for it. We are in Virginia
Beach, VA but he might be willing to meet halfway or something.
