Only the 3rd time on the track this year :-) Actually, I had
to find out which tire/rim combo to take to the Nats.
Contrary to all published specs., the 26 x 8.5 x 15 MT
ET Streets are 2" more in circumference that the
235/60 BFG drag radials. The MTs were costing me
a couple hundred rpms at the line and a tenth in the ETs.
So I think you can guess which set I'll be taking to the
Nats :-)

Yup, that mph should translate in a 13s run. I think that
the track's computer system either contracted the West
Niles virus or melted under the hot sun :-)
I suppose that I could use the timeslip for bench racing :-P
See here's proof that I ran a 113 mph 1/4 :-* I just spun the
tires the entire way down to the 1/8th :-)
A super modified camaro ran 8.0 last October on the day
that I ran the 14.3s. Yesterday, he was running 8.4s.
Now, considering that I was running 9.4s (3/10s off my best)
at the 1/8 yesterday and 9.7s at National Trail Raceway last
year, it's going to be close trying to break into the 14s for the
1/4 at the Nats :-)
