What mods do you have in your engine to be running 93 octane? Doesn't sound
right to me. With a 180 t-stat your pinging should be gone with no load.
What kind of wires are you running? Check your belly pan lately? Clean
your TB and sensors lately? On a stock engine the 93 octane fuel is not
always the best solution. The higher the octane the more difficult it is to
ignite the fuel mixture. The reason people use these fuels is because they
have advanced their timing (for power) and they don't want pre-ignition.
