TPS sensor mod, and IAC solenoids

Could a dirty nasty IAC solenoid cause my truck to not get enough air and
therefore cause my truck to clatter...

Also, I dont understand the TPS sensor mods on speedtweaks site. I dont get
how drilling out copper bushing will modify the reading the sensor returns...
