Thanks for the quick reply Jim.
That is what I thought too when I first noticed the problems. I did find
that the return spring on the tranny side of the tv cable was hanging loose
(no idea how that happened). But I reattached and the problems continue.
I just went out and checked adjustment again and it is spot on. I earlier
tried driving with the tv cable disconnected, but the problem still
occurred. I reprogrammed the PCM as per FAQ thinking that might help. I
was thinking the TPS was related but I don't think that is all.
Could the governer pressure solenoid or sensor be related? I saw something
about that in the archive.
