Well, after weeks of moving into our new house things have finally settled
back down. The Dak went back to the dealer yesterday morning to have them
install something else that would hopefully cure our popping in the
steering. I was being to have doubts that they would ever end up actually
discovering the prob. But it turns out after everything in the front end
dealing with the steering with the exception of the steering wheel (the
whole rack-in-pinion, steering column, and whatever this last trip was...)
has now been replaced and the noise seems to be gone. When I go back in soon
to pick up the papers on everything that they have done if it's not on the
latest I'll ask exactly what it was that they did.
It feels strange not to have that annoying sound and popping feeling while
turning the wheel now.... ahhhh but sooooo happy :-)
