If the gap is too wide (.050), they may not always fire properly. Gap
them as recommended.

Subject: DML: spark plug gap

i used to have msd on my truck but i had to take it off. i left the
plugs at
the recommened .050 gap for when using msd. the truck starts and runs
alright. what performance loss would there be if any if i were to leave
them
at .050 instead of the factory .035. what other things would i gain or
lose
by leaving them where they are ?
