Re: No modified exhaust in NJ, final update

Went to the DMV on Saturday to have a manager come out to listen to the
truck. When I got hold of the manager, he said that he remembers my truck
when I bought it in the first time. While walking out to the parking lot
from the inspection lanes he asked me if I had done anything to fix the
problem and I told him no. He then tells me to bring the truck closer to
where his office was. After pulling the truck up, he walks around and
listens to it idling. He then tells me to step on the gas. He then tells
me that I must have done something to make it less loud and then passes me.
I did absolutely nothing to the exhaust. Same thing happened 2 years ago.
Was failed inside the inspection lane but passed when I had a manager listen
to the truck outside in the lot. The inspection lanes have a roof over it
so it does amplify the noise level.
