Mine shifts just fine. I did it and took my 2001 4.7 up 120 on privite land
not highway after I let off the key the spedo hit 120 then started droping
down so I was really going a little faster. From what I have seen it
disables the ABS controle unit (ACU) witch sends the speed data to the PCM
no data no limiter and no abs

(Disclamer: recomended for off road use only never exceed the posted speed
limit)
