Hi Ron
You're absolutely correct Ron, however Lombard is a one way down, you
know, the "crookedest street in the world" the locals try to claim it, so
the
nightmare you describe must be at the top of another of the many steep
hills.
Taylor St at its peak right in front of Grace Cathedral on Nob Hill is a
great one for what you describe. It's also conveniently located in case you
completely blow it since they won't have to haul your remains very far for a
most majestic memorial service. I always take flatland tourist guests to
that spot, stop at the top as required, then allow the vehicle to roll back,
just a tad, Screams, much sucking of air, and hands thrust out to grab
something occur without fail
