You got it exactly right, Patrick. The extra money is only for ABS for the
other two wheels. Everything else is standard, and about time, too, I might
add.

Subject: DML: '03 rear disc

I have been curious about the rear disc brakes on the '03, and here's
what I found out in the last few days, at least here's my take on it.

I believe that rear disc is now standard equipment on the Dakota. I
stopped at Advantage Dodge in Elkton, Maryland and they had about 10
'03's sitting there. Every single one and also every single '03
Durango had rear disc on them, and there was no additional charge on any
window sticker.
Now, I go to the '03 Dakota on Dodge's website, and it shows a $495
option for 4wheel disc antilock. What I believe this to be is just
adding abs to the brake system, since none of the trucks that I saw had
an additional charge for abs or listed it either.
  Anyone think something else?
Patrick
