Yep, the width of the tire tread. An 11.5 should fit on a 9" rim - no prob.
I've got 11.5s on the DAKSY's OEM 8" rims. I get a litle bit of rub when
I've got the wheel completely cranked in either direction, but other than
that , they're fine. Pix on my page.
