   Hmmm... Well, it depends on what the problem is and how willing you
are to fight over it... The dealership can't deny warranty work unless
they can prove the Hurst shifter caused the problem. I suspect that
if the dealer isn't even willing to look at it, they are probably
the type to fight the whole way, and try like heck to make it look
like the shifter caused the problem, even if it didn't.

  If I were in the same situation, I would probably re-install the
stock stick and take it to a different dealer. (And make a mental
note not to go back to the first dealer for anything, especially
when it comes time to buy a new vehicle...)
