The plan is to get a tranny (and convertoer) from PATC, that should hold up
to about 650 horses, the rear will be an 8 3/4 (gotta locate someone that'll
do the install). I have not yet considered what to do about the drive shaft
because it is a 2 piece (truck is extended cab), so I imagine I'll have to
rig a larger carrier bearing and have custom shafts built. The rear shaft
I'll have done in aluminum but I'm not sure if they ca do an aluminum shaft
with the front due to the bearing, I'll keep you posted though.
