Heh heh heh. I know. :) No,she has some things that
could be done to her V6 Mustang that I was noticing
yesterday when changing the oil. Her car has true dual
exhaust clear back to the muffler (twin cats). Wish
mine did. I`ll have to look again to be sure,but I
believe my Dak`s exhaust is one single cat,straight
back to the muffler. The guy I spoke with wants to
come off the cat with a single pipe to a single
muffler,then split it and run duals out the back. I
have never modified an exhaust before,but that seems
kind of restrictive,doesn`t it? It could depend on his
choice of muffler,but maybe he thinks that having a
muffler on each side would be even more restrictive?
Don`t know. I can see both sides of the coin here. I
know I cannot afford buying two cats,two mufflers,and
two exhaust pipes right now,so for $185,I like his
plan the best! All I want is a little more rumble
(nothing headache-inducing),and the cool appearance of
dual exhaust. I don`t believe that ANY mods done after
the cat could make much difference in power or mileage
anyway,because it seems like the cat itself would be
restrictive enough to negate any real gains
thereafter. Opinions?? Steve P.
