Ford owned less than 10% of Cummins through the early eighties. IN the late
eighties ('88, I believe) Cummins bought Ford out of house.
Dodge does not use Allison transmissions. That has been a rumor for close
to five years now, but presently, a 47RE Chrysler still transmits the HD's
power to the wheels, a 48RE will be mated with the HO Cummins later in the
2003 MY.
