Read my post again, Jon. It says FORD uses GM transmissions, not Dodge.
Ford had to go to the Allison unit after having to warranty so many of their
units in the F-250 through 550 trucks with the diesel engine, as they were
burning up because they are nothing more than modified F-150 units.
Thought I'd clear that up a bit.
