An extended warranty is not really a warranty at all, it is an insurance
policy, thus, it can be cancelled.

Doubtful. The extended warranty usually sits over the regular warranty.
It's rare if that's not the case. Sometimes the extended warranty
covers
those problems that occur after some of the regular warranty has
expired,
e.g., those items that are covered only for 12 months or 12K miles, but
beware, if it's a normal maintenance item, probably not. In any case,
the
supplier of the extended warranty will generally tell you that they've
been
covering your vehicle since you bought it. Good luck.

Does anybody know if I am still within the limits of my manufacturers
warranty, can I sell back my extended warranty?

Thanks
