Whatever system is used, it'll always be open somewhere for air intake but
better than nothing, and obliviously should be done :-)

Has anyone looked at PREP spark plugs? They are basically a pressure
relief type of plug. Enormous pressure buildup of water (non-compressible) is
what causes the internal carnage. I've seen a bit of literature on these and
they don't seem to be snake oil. In combination with the above, it would
provide a margin of safety. Better to blow up plugs than internals :-)
