Jon,

If you've got the intake off, it's not *that* much harder to pull the head,
is it?

I'd yank the head and take it to a machine shop to extract the plug.

Later,
Tom

We sucked most of the water out of the cylinders through the spark
plug holes, but one of the plugs broke, which actually appears to be
the main problem here. I tried to extract it yesterday, but didn't
have any luck. I did suck another 20-24 ounces of water out of the
intake though and cranked over the engine (without any plugs in it).
It turned over very smoothly, there was no vibration, no clunks or
bangs, the engine itself didn't even move. So I'm hoping that means
the internals are all still OK. I was planning to clean out the
intake, change the oil and fire it up, but with that broken plug
in there, that's not possible. I'm thinking of dropping it off
at the dealer to let them worry about it...
