Ahhh, Understandable...

I know it can be a major PIA, rust does not play...

I did plugs on a friends 91 Exploder and one of the plugs snapped off in the
head. I removed the head in his apartment parking lot and amazingly did not
snap ONE bolt off.

The exhaust manifold studs I thought were going to snap though... Yikes!

Later,
Tom

Well, I'm not sure. The intake isn't off yet, but granted, I would
probably pull it to clean it up. But, the whole engine is pretty
cruddy - lots of rust and stuff on it - metal flaking off, etc. I
wouldn't be too surprised to round off or break some bolts, etc. So,
its one of those things where if I start going into the engine, I
may find myself faced with even more problems.

(And of course, it *would* have to be the head right next to the
master cylinder...) :-P
