Illinois gets a lot of cars via seizure - and instead of auctioning them off, they re-paint 'em and use 'em. I've even seen a genIII R/T dakota all painted up with lights and exhaust tips!! (Alton, IL - I have pic's!!)

thats nuthin... in IL some troopers can purchase and use a car of thier
choosing. (once equiped with flashers and such). About four years ago
south of springfiled on I55 I saw a hopped up ricer pulled over by a newer
"boss" rustange (the yellow ones with the black stripes on the hood/fenders)

imagine how much would that suck.
