Terry-

The DML website has a calculator. I think it's near the bottom of the main
page.

A brief calculation:
255/65/15 means 15inch rim, 255 millimeter width. Take 255 divided by 25.4
to get inches of width. 65 is the aspect ratio. Take 255 x .65 to get the
sidewall height in millimeters. Once again, divide by 25.4 for inches.

So a 255/65/15 tire is about 10 inches wide (255/25.4) and the sidewalls are
about 6.5 inches (255 * .65 / 25.4). Take the sidewall twice, and add the
rim height for the full tire height of 28".

I've put everything from 0 - 500 lbs in the bed. I found that too much
makes the truck handle funny, so about 350 is what I try to stick with,
right over the axle. I usually air down the tires a bit if possible.

Tirerack.com has lots of reviews of these tires. They can't tell me if
they'll fit though, so that's why I'm asking here!
