The part is about 25-30 buck and takes 10 minutes including jacking it up.

There is a sud on the center section of the rear. Loosen 1 nut, remove the
brake line from the stud, disconnect the wiring harness plug, loosen the
other nut. Twist it a little while pulling up. Line the new one up, drop
it in, nut on, brake line on, nut on, plug it in. You probably won't need
to reset the PCM, but if the light doesn't go out, reset it (disconnect the
battery, turn the key to start for a few seconds, reconnect the battery).
Done.

Subject: DML: major Dak problems

I took it to the dealer this morning and the service rep told me it was the
VSS, and quoted me a price of 250$. this (naturally) drove me into a rage
and i called the DC 1-800 number and they told me i could qualified for
"financial assistance". I almost started laughing over the phone. I dont
want assistace, i want you morons to pay for it!!! Tomorrow morning im gonna
take it back and get the final word on it, including what THEY CLAIM they
will pay.

now Im pissed!
