I hate to dampen your spirits but are you SURE it isn't the crankshaft front
seal?

Subject: DML: Oil Leak!

Ok, DML, talk to me!
Got under the DAKSY for the 57K oil/filter change & noticed the crossmember
under the pulleys was wet (?). Using the "bloodhound" sense I determined
it's motor oil. Wiped everything down at the bottom of the V-6 & I can see a
little glistening at the top of the oil pan right below the pulley, where
the radius in the pan is. The oil pan bolts are tight.
The pan gasket musta sh*t the bed....
Should be a quickie, right? Just tell me that there IS a pan gasket
available & that I don't hafta use RTV like on the pumpkins. I haven't gone
to the "bible" yet - I WILL - but, I figgered I'd ask the DAKsperts first.
Somebody out there musta done this once or twice. Is it gonna be a
drain/unbolt/drop/remove/install/install/bolt up/refill thingie?
TIA,
