Actually, both jobs are probably easier for the dealer. On the seal you
have to pull the harmonic balancer. On the pan you need to take off the
cross members and some other things. To re-install the pan you need to make
dowels so you can line the pan up correctly. Sorry....I still hated to do
it! I guess either way it's gonna be a $100.
