Well I sucked it up & called the nearest Dodge dealer & made the
appointment, telling them that the DAKSY needed the front crank seal
replaced. Service guy never even asked how I knew what was wrong but told me
to bring er in. Dropped er off at 7 this AM & he called me at 1:30:
Tech: " All done Mr. Smith...you were correct, it WAS the front crank seal."
Me: "How much?"
Tech: "No charge. Covered under your 4yr/75K Chrysler warranty.You can pick
it up at any time."
Yeah, baybeee! Guess I finally did somethin smart (other than buying the
DAKSY!) in purchasing the extra coverage. 'Course, she'll hit 75K LOOONNNNG
before I hit 4 years, but at least I got something out of the deal..so it
wasn't a total waste of money...
Hmmmm...maybe I should break somethin major before the warranty runs
out!?!??! Engine...Tranny...Hmmmm...
