Subject: DML: Shock Replacement Question

My stupid question is this, is there some compelling reason to change the
shocks just 'cause their old or can I just wait until they start to fail the
bounce test??

Tom,
By the time the shocks start to fail the bounce test, the handling of the
truck will have been affected for many miles.
Shock failure is progressive and really difficult to notice, even with
periodic tests.
Worn shocks can seriously affect front tire wear.
