   I know other folks have used a lot less, but when I drive my Dak
in the winter, I put around 600lbs in the bed. (Its a '96 club cab
V8 5-spd.) The traction in the winter is really bad so I might have
overcompensated a bit, but that's what I have been using and it seems
to work for me.
