Daktoberfest has come and gone, but how about the BBQ Jon hosts every
summer the weekend after 4th of July? No school then.

So far, yes. Schedules are tougher in the fall because of school, end
of year crunch at work, etc.

There's a motel down the road, and there's places to set up tents both
inside the barn and outsite. Warning, though - if Adam's sleeping in
the barn, the snoring reverberates off the walls and can wake the dead.
Doesn't wake Adam up, though - does that make him one of the undead?
There are a few sofas in the barn as well.

Absolutely. Jason & Norah Bleazard always come down for it together,
but they're both nuts. David Martin brought his wife the first 2 years
of the BBQ. Jason Yates came out this summer with his wife, whose first
words were, as I recall, "am I gonna be the only girl here this
weekend?" Someday I'll convince/persuade/trick/trap/drug my girlfriend
into coming along, and several of our Jeep-driving attendees are women.

I love Linux as much as the next guy but you might want to at least let
your uptime get into double digits before telling the world :)
