I know it's kinda late for this, but I heard a trick somewhere, that you can
put a light coat of vaseline on the quarters where the rubber will hit. Go
burn the crap out of the tires, park, wipe off the Vaseline and rubber
chunks, and you're clean and good to go!
I never tried this, and I could be way off... I would suggest a good many
coats of wax on the panels before I tried it.
If anyone tries this, let us know if it actually works.

Subject: DML: Silly Question...
What's the best solvent to use to get tire rubber off of bodywork? I tried
alcohol and methyl hydrate, but they don't work very well. What works best?
It's been on there for several months, I've been trying to remove it for as
long, and I'm getting a little annoyed.
