Sounds like thete's a good story behind this..

In my experience, a little heat (hairdryer only) and a hard, sharp plastic scraper is about the only way to do that. If it'd on an area you don't mind buggering up, a dremel with a wire brush will be faster, but it's hard not to hurt paint...

What's the best solvent to use to get tire rubber off of bodywork? I tried
alcohol and methyl hydrate, but they don't work very well. What works best?
