after reading some articles on the net (non Mopar), but anyhow they are
saying that if the TB blades are not completely shut that this could cause
this...also, they say that a miss aligned throttle linkage could cause
this...well, I did adjust this a while ago to get it to shift as late as
possible. could this cause this?

Dieseling is not possable on a fuel injected engine. Dieseling is usually
caused by too high an idle speed on a carburated engine where fuel keeps
entering the engine and is ignited by heat in the head. On fuel injected
engines when you turn the ign off the fuel pump stops and the injectors stop
pulsing immediately so the engine stops immediately. If this is not the
case you have an electrical problem which requires immediate attention!
