Thanks to DML and Andy Levy, I was able to solve my previous problem. The
wire corrosion wasn't exactly underneath the fuse box, but in the connector
that brings all those wires into the computer. People at Kragen told me that
that would be a hard part to replace, so I got some degunker spray, a small
round file, and went to work, connector by connector. That problem is now
gone. Thanks again, DML.

What I have since I cleaned those contacts is a code 21. The AutoXray DTC
reader I used read "oxygen sensor shorted to high voltage". This is not a
error message found anywhere else for the possible causes of trouble code
21, so i figured that at 70k miles, not having ever replaced the oxygen
sensor, it was time to do so. I was hoping it would solve the problem, and I
replaced it then cleared trouble codes using the AutoXray unit. Code 21
still present after a new scan. Tried warming up the engine, then clearing
trouble codes again. Code 21 still there (check engine light stays on while
engine is running).

Does anyone have a clue on what could be going on here? I wasn't getting
code 21 before I cleaned the computer connectors.

Thanks,
Igor Mack.
