The "Hemi" Cuda from the factory had a 425HP (as reported for insurance
reasons) 426 Hemi engine. To get a car to clear all four wheels is damn
near impossible. To lift the front end of this particular car (3200
lbs) while launching would take a lot of work to the rear suspension to
get the car to hook-up and not just spin the tires. So, while it is
possible to "launch" a car on takeoff, the force required to lift the
car is usually lost by the back tires losing traction. I guess with
enough PHT, enough HP and torque, and a little luck hooking up -
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Subject: DML: Hemi Cuda Question F-n-F
Ok...dumb question: in the Fast and Furious, the Hemi Cuda did rear
squat
and leap into the air. Fantasy or fiction?
What did the Hem Cuda have under hood?
