I think it is a HO 4.7 but no 5.7 is being planned for 2004. The refresh
will be in 2005.
May check with BUZZ for any further updates for 2004 year.

i've been checking the dodge website, and they finally made the Hemi an
option on the Ram 1500.
the 5.9L is still on the website as an option, but i doubt that will be
there much longer. and the Dakota R/T is still there with a 5.9L.
any buzz on what's going to happen with the R/T next year, now that the 5.9L
plant was shut down? will there be a 2004 R/T???
