Release the velcro strap and then push down on the ring that is going to
the floor. Not sure if the opening of the hook that it hooks into is at
the front or the back. Once I finally got mine out, I didn't hook it
back.

Hell, I had the same problem with my QC it 's held in be a Velcro
strap. Had
to get the dealer to show me how. SO don't feel stupid.
