Well most of it anyway... but not from teh theives. Because most of my
stuff was never stolen in teh first place. And it can all be chalked
up to my addle brained grey matter.

Oh my truck was stoll broken into and ransacked ... but as I joyfully
(read whooping and screaming in elation) discovered.... the stuff was
never in my truck to begin with. I'll explain...

Monday I took teh 4x4 into a repair shop (as I posted before) to have it
evaluated. I had forgotten that I removed all of the stuff prior to
taking the truck in. I got to thinking about my set of craftsman
ratchet handwrenches. I said - damn - I usually keep those under the
seat...hidden out of sight.... then I thought... hidden? And I
rememberd that I hid everything behind the seat of the 2wd Dakota! I
was in a hurry that AM and didnt have time to take the stuff all the way
into the house, so I stuffed them behind the seat.

It was all there - Both CD cases, the gauges, camera, jumper cabels, air
compressor, mag light flashlights, digital compass and my hand tools.
it appears the only thing they got was the head unit and perhaps a stray
CD or two at the most.

With that having been factored into the equation, the damages and losses
are more like $600 instead of $1100 or $1200. I promptly emptied the
2wd of any valuables.

On a weird note - I recieved two crank phone calls tonight. I traced
the number down as being a local pay phone. I think this is not a
coincidance. Someone in this neighborhood doesn't like me. My trucks
have been hit mutiple times... and now crank calls starting. I think
they got my phone number from some receipts in my truck. Thank God I'm
moving this week.
