You're already turning plenty. The hubs don't disengage like on most
vehicles; when the front tires are turning, so are the axles,
differential and prop shaft. Plus all the gear adds a lot of weight to
the truck, and the suspension isn't helping traction (especially in the
rear - axle wrap).
