Here we go again, generation debate. I think the easiest way to define

is by body style. Personally, I think there should really only be two
generations. 87-96 and 97 and up. If you are going to define three
generations, then it should be 87-90, 91-96 and 97 and up. The 87-90
and
91-96 trucks are different enough from each other that I could sort of
see
breaking them up.
