Hee hee - if you notice - I said nothing about GenI vs genII - - just
stated that GenI's (87-90_ were carbed in the early years and TBIs in
the latter days.
And I think the general concensus is Gen I 87-90, Gen II 91-96,
And Gen III 97-current.
It depends on how you think the generations be designated. Mechanically
or cosmetically. While you are probably forrect in a mechanical
term.... you could argue Gen I 87-88, Gen II 89-91, Gen III 92-96 and
Gen IV 97-current....
However that seems a bit involved. There are more than subtle cosmetic
changes between 90 and 91, to warrent sticking a generational dividing
line in there. Daks went from the blunt flat nose short hoods, to
rounded aerodynamic looking longer hoods, and threw in a V8 to boot.
Do we need a DML poll ??? :-P
