They don't on the Dodge vehicles....yet. ;) (I'm sure SEMA will put a
stop to that crap - it's on the books for action already).
GM's have had those "Black Boxes" on the vehicles for a long time now -
ABS and Airbag systems mainly. Allows for checking if the brakes were
applied when the airbag went off.

keep track of your vehicle when they start requiring GPS tracking for
