Adjusting the torsion bars to raise the front end will stiffen the ride and
make a slight change in the camber.
The very most I would adjust by is 1 (one) inch. More than that and the ride
becomes stiffer, the camber gets worse and the torsion bar is operating in
an area that it wasn't designed to. It is not likely to break but will
become fatigued faster and will eventually sag sooner.

The bars are marked left and right, don't switch them, they're not
interchangeable. That said, they don't have a front and back. Either end can
face forward.

Most important; the final adjustment should be upwards not downwards. If you
get it too high, don't lower it and leave it!
Bring it down slightly below the final height and then raise it to the
correct height. Otherwise the adjustment will not hold.

All of the above is per 1999 FSM.
