Greg,
Don't know about your injector question. But on releaving the fuel line
pressure, here's what I do. Pull the fuel pump relay and crank the engine
2-3 seconds. This will releave any pressure on the line. Works great on my
'96.

Hey all,

couple of items/questions:

1) fiveomotorsport.com has just reduced their price on the design III 19#
injectors.

2)There are a set of 19# on ebay for $99 ($129 buy it now) that I was
thinking about bidding on for my 92 V6, the seller said that they are new
and he bought them from fiveomotorsport and never installed them. The part
number is E5TE-B1B, it appears that is the design II set. That is the one
that will work best for my truck correct? What kind of difference would I
see with them? any better fuel mileage (94,000 miles on the dak)?

3)question to anyone that has changed injectors before (93 or older v6 -
according to Haynes), what is the easiest way to release the pressure on the
fuel system? My Haynes manual says "disconnect the guage, in the special
fuel pressure guage tool set, from the fuel hose in the tool set, place the
guage end of the hose into an approved gasoline container, wrap a towel
around the test port fitting, to release pressure, screw the other end of
the hose onto the fuel pressure port and drain the fuel into the container."
What is the guage and the special fuel pressure guage tool set? Maybe it is
a stupid question, I am just confused a little.
