        That's the "EVAP" solenoid that takes care of the pressure or vacuum
created within the fuel tank. It's part of the pollution control system. Mine
has ticked since day one. Usually it's because it's touching something and
transmitting the sound to the fender well. Supposed to be mounted on a rubber
mount that dampens the sound.
       Make sure that you fuel tank cap is tight and in good shape. If you're
still in warranty, run it be the dealer and have them check it. If mine gets
too loud I'll just twist it a little to make it a little looser on the rubber
mount and it'll get quiet again.
