Ok ok, it's not a Dakota, but it is a Dodge, and a RAM at that :-)
If you haven't seen it yet, in the March 2003 Truckin' magazine, they show
the new Dodge Cannonball Express which is a Heavy Duty Dually Ram 3500 that
was shown at SEMA.. Check out these stock numbers:
Engine: Cummins 5.9L 24-valve inline-6 Turbo Diesel
Torque: 750 lb-ft @ 1,800 RPM (Up from 555lb-ft @ 1,600 RPM)
HP: 370hp @ 3,000 RPM (Up from 305hp @ 2,900 RPM)
Towing: Up to 11 ton towing capacity
And this is shortly after Ford announced their new F-350 that can supposedly
blow away the current Cummins Turbo Diesel.. Well, that was short lived :-)
Also, it has an electrically controlled E-Z power tonno bedcover...22" rims
with 37" tires.. Pretty sweet truck..
oh ok, I'll toss some Dakota info in.. This months magazine was mostly
dodge stuff, mostly coming from the R/T Nationals and like 25 tips/tricks
for Dakotas (which we really all already knew about).. Shows some nice
Dakota and Rams in there..
