As Andy correctly stated, its a truck. However, trucks will often
get lumped in with SUVs, depending on the person doing the lumping
and the particular political interests at stake.

So, basically anyone with a clue will call it a truck, but whenever
the puppet on the six o'clock news makes mention of "SUV"s you can be
pretty darn sure (s)he's talking about your Dakota too.
