Does anyone have any good mail-orderable sources for forged clevis loops (I
hope that's the correct term). I'm looking for some to use on a project and
have found that the local culprits (to Sacramento, CA) all want over $20ea.
for loops in the 4" size. I bought them 5 years ago at the hardware store
for under $10, but they no longer carry them. In case I've used the wrong
terminology, I'm looking for a closed loop with removable pin, such as are
found on Humvee bumpers, Tom Buban's bumper, etc., and would be suitable
for looping chain, tow straps, etc through.
