Re: Tansfer case 231 or 242?

I do not know if this will help or not but when I
brought my truck it was ordered with the 242 but came
with the 231. The lever inside the truck was from the
242. When they changed the t-case the boot and lever
was never changed.(the lever was from the 242) I do
not know if the boot came from the factory as the 242
boot or the 231 boot. There was not problems with the
boot or how it worked for the first two weekes before
they changed it.
